Wellington Airport has released its Master Plan for 2030 following extensive consultation with a wide range of stakeholders on its draft, and a thorough public submission process.

To make way for the Regional Lounge, Hangar No. 2 has been carefully dismantled. Before it was deconstructed a party was held to farewell the hangar which was attended by over 150 people who had worked in the hangar from the 1940’s to recent years.

Wellington Airport’s new online car park booking service is a first for New Zealand airports and allows the customer to access considerable savings by booking early.

A new customer lounge – the Wild at Heart Lounge – will open at Wellington Airport on 15 December and will be made available to visitors and airline customers alike.
